| Science parks have always been "industry-oriented",both in terms of development orientation and academic research,with industrial development as the core,thus promoting the rapid economic development of science parks,the continuous improvement of industrial capacity,and the continuous climbing of average land output,and leading local industrial development as a development pole.However,at the same time,the long-standing development approach of emphasizing production and neglecting living has caused the shortcomings of living services in science parks to become more and more prominent,until it becomes a bottleneck that hinders the high-quality development of parks.In addition,there is a great lack of research on living services in science parks,and most of the existing studies on living services are focused on residential areas,which cannot provide targeted guidance to science parks.This paper is an attempt to study the configuration system of living public facilities required by science parks according to their demand characteristics,and to construct a set of assessment methods and processes to guide their upgrading and improvement.This is of academic significance to fill the research gap related to the configuration of living public facilities in science parks,and also of application significance to support the realistic demand of improving the quality and increasing the activity of parks to fill the shortcomings through a practical methodological process.This paper first conducts a literature review on the characteristics of science parks and the fields related to living services,and constructs a configuration system of living public facilities in science parks in 4 major categories of shopping and retail,restaurants and cafes,culture and sports,and parks and green spaces,and 4 levels of cities,districts,neighborhoods,and communities,with a total of 34 sub-categories.We proposed an assessment method with coverage,abundance and intensity as the core indicators,and formed a set of "research-assessment-enhancement" method flow.On this basis,with the goal of matching supply and demand,we proposed improvement strategies from the level of combining scale and layout,so as to systematically solve the core problems of "lacking or not,where and how much" of facilities.Secondly,the research-assessment-enhancement method was applied to the four major categories of facilities in Fengtai Science Park as a case object,which practically guided the assessment and enhancement research of Fengtai Science Park and verified the feasibility and value of this method.The innovative points of this paper’s research in terms of facility targeting,methodological process self-assessment,facility coverage determination,comprehensive facility scale calculation,and refined enhancement strategies are summarized;the derived thoughts on the planning,development,and management modes of science parks are extended;the limitations and future prospects in terms of facility demand differences,local adaptation of research contents,technical details of index application,inventory facility study,and the role of quantitative analysis are also proposed. |
