At present,both the complex status of public space in residential areas,social network relationships,neighborhood relations and the special physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly to the existing residential area of the aging update brings a lot of difficulties,even now introduced some on urban renewal Of the local laws and regulations do not necessarily be able to fully adapt to the aging of residential buildings in the aging of a variety of design requirements,in the actual project,each residential renovation projects need to spend a lot of manpower,material and financial resources to refine the argument.In view of this,this paper focuses on the hotspot problem of the urban renewal and renovation in the existing residential area based on the product model.It analyzes and refers to the domestic and foreign urban renewal and residential renovation.This paper presents a method to update the sustainable aging product in the public space of the existing residential area with the universal significance,which is based on the case study of the public space in 258 Maigaoqiao Street.This paper mainly discusses the present situation of the aging of public space in the existing residential area and the characteristics of the elderly and the two-dimensional design based on the characteristics of aging,and mainly discusses from the following aspects:1.The present situation and characteristics of public space in existing residential areas in China are briefly introduced to illustrate the necessity and urgency of sustainable renewal and renovation of public space suitable for aging in existing residential areas.2.The characteristics of the layout of the public space in the existing residential area are discussed in detail.The problems in the renewal and renovation of the existing residential buildings are also discussed in this paper,as well as several problems that should be paid more attention in the renovation process.3.The characteristics of public space buildings and personnel,the social relations of public space in existing residential areas are discussed in detail.4.The main content,the reforming thought,the reforming principle,the key points and the reconstruction design strategy of the public space in the existing residential area are discussed in detail.5.The whole process of the project is described in detail through practical cases,and the importance of integrating the theory and practice of the renewal and renovation of the public space suitable aging of public space is discussed.
