Evaluation Research On Travel Information Service Based On User Demand

The speed up of city urbanization has put much pressure on city transportation system,causing traffic congestion,frequent traffic accident,low efficiency of vehicles and other problems which bring much inconvenience to residents' daily life.In order to solve these problems,the state is focusing on the construction of intelligent transportation system(ITS),so as to guide residents to go out wisely every day.Travel information service aims to provide information services to residents who are going out.firstly,traffic information is collected by various sensors,GPS and other technologies,collected information would be transferred to information processing system by information transmission system to get mined and analyzed and ultimately send to travelers in various forms.In this paper,the background,purpose and significance of the study is firstly introduced as well as the literature review of relevant studies in home and abroad.Secondly,to better understand the whole research,related concepts and methods are also introduced such as the concept of information service quality,users' satisfaction and evaluation methods which can firmly support the whole research process.Before empirical analysis,the article researched the content,mode and construction situations of actual travel information service,making an in-depth understand on research object.To evaluate the traveler information service,all factors about the content,method and effect are taking into consideration to build up an index system as comprehensive as possible,then indexes are screened and adjusted according to the result of small sample investigation,and then all indexes are classified and weighed by factor analysis.Finally,an empirical research in Wuhan is carry out to investigate the satisfaction of residences upon the president traveler information service,finding out problems and put forward corresponding opinions and suggestions and at the same time providing particle experience of travel information service for other cities and provide reference for researchers in the future studies.
