Research Of AIS AtoN Function Test Platform

Maritime navigational technology is very important to maritime safety,many scholars and related international organizations are promoting research and development of new navigational technology.The implementation of the AIS system undoubtedly played an important role in the field of global maritime security,and AIS aids to navigation which based on AIS system also made a great contribution to maritime security.The function integrity and performance stability are one of the most important aspects of qualified navigational equipment,and they will directly affect system performance and maritime traffic safety.Systematic products of AIS AtoN testing are uncommon around the world..Therefore,in this paper,AIS AtoN function testing platform is studied and implemented.This testing platform builds a complete function test system which based on standard requirement,and it is of great significance for current AIS marketization of equipment testing and maintaining.In this paper,testing principles of AIS AtoN testing platform are studied based on the structural composition and operational principle of AIS AtoN,and testing scheme of AIS AtoN function is designed and established on the basis of the current AIS terminal equipment test standards,including IEC 62320-2,IEC 61162-1,AIS AtoN application direction and ITU-R M.1371-4,etc.This testing platform contains three parts,including simulator AIS base station system which realizes transfering messages,simulator AIS AtoN system and AIS AtoN function testing system which contains functions of detecting and analyzing results.Every system adopts modular design method.This platform is divided into central control module,network communication module,data processing module,file storage module and interface module.AIS AtoN function testing platform is designed under the Windows system in Qt software platform,using C/C + + program design language,include file management module,data processing module,network communication module and testing function management module.This platform achieve the implementation of message 21 configuration function,message broadcast rate function,etc.All the test scheme coincidence test standard.Text and schematic diagram is designed on the platform.This platform centralized control a number of test business,compared with the manual test mode,this test platform has great improvement in time and efficiency.Results show that test platform can automatically analysis various functions of AIS AtoN and it is convenient for AIS AtoN Management personnel to do their job.In addition,this testing platform can be further extended,realizing the application in actual AIS beacon physical device.
