Arch bridge is originated in natural stone arch.Because of its beautiful li nes,conveniently,reasonable structure stress,it's one for the main bridge.It is the largest number of main bridge in Chongqing local roads.As the arch brid ge design load levels are low,has been unable to meet the growing demand f or traffic development,especially the provincial highway bridges.Therefore in Chongqing local roads,a large part of stone arch bridge has the reinforcement and reconstruction.It's more and more popular that some of them had new d iseases in short term.Therefore,it is important to evaluate the reinforcement e ffect of the stone arch bridge in order to improve the reinforcement design,co nstruction and management.This paper focuses on the effect of increasing the cross section method to strengthen the main arch ring and its countermeasures,as the following:1 The main factors that influence the reinforcement effect of the main ar ch ring strengthen by increasing the cross section method are obtained by sum ming up the causes of disease of composite arch.They are divided into three p arts: the connection between the arch and the concrete layer,the inherent disea se of the original arch and the defect of the concrete reinforcement layer.2 The influence of the disease on the load carrying capacity of the exis ting main arch and reinforcement layer has been analyzed to determine the eff ect of each disease on the reinforcement effect.3 Evaluation model is established to determine the effects of quantifiable f actors of specific indicators,based on extension engineering and Analytic Hiera rchy Process combined with the extension of synthesis for reinforced arch com prehensive evaluation.4 Using the combined extension method to evaluate the relying on the pr oject,the theoretical evaluation results and load test results are consistent,and the technical countermeasures are obtained.This paper has some guiding significance for design,construction and cust ody of stone arch bridge reinforcement.
