Power is one of the most essential energy of a country.Overhead transmission lines play a necessary and significant role in electric system.With the development of transmission lines construction and the increase of revamping investment,higher requirements have been put forward on the speed,quality,veracity,economy and security of lines design.Due to the high technical and theoretical requirements for transmission line design,this paper firstly introduces process the concept,formulas and commonly used physical parameters involved in the process of the transmission line design,and analyzes the relationship between the various calculation methods and parameters.Secondly,the transmission line design process requires a lot of data for access and reference,it focuses on the design and implementation methods of database systems,gives examples of the data table construction focused on the basic database and engineering database,with the greatest degree of satisfaction database system availability and redundancy of small targets.Thirdly,because the great need of transmission line aided design software,this paper presents reasonable and feasible aided design system architecture,and describes the relationship between the overall system architecture and each module,and explains the function and meaning of each module,shows the most important features of the design process flow to maintain the data table,overhead line towers positioned wire mechanical calculation,fittings and other materials statistics,as to provide more convenience to the designer and the broader ideas as possible.The main purpose of analyzing the overhead transmission line design principle of is to provide a more practical and comprehensive theoretical framework and system architecture for the transmission line computer-aided design,enables designers to complete more convenient and precise graphics configuration,parameter calculation,data processing,speed up the design progress,improve design quality,and ultimately adapt to the current situation of heavy power grid construction.
