Lofting of overhead lines junction in railway tunnel occupies an important position in theconstruction of catenary, and the accuracy and speed of lofting process direct influence onconstruction of overhead lines and conditions of overhead lines during normal operation. Forsuch a large railway tunnel construction,the use of Automatic Lofting System proposed in thispaper is of great practical significance and application value for overhead lines junction ofrailway tunnel lofting.Automatic Lofting System is based on embedded operating systemWindows CE,which reveals taht developing related measuring software based on embeddedoperating system Windows CE is bound to be an important trend in the future.This paperintroduces and analyzes the traditional method of lofting overhead lines junction of railwaytunnel,summes up the shortcomings and inadequacies,then propose a new method used inAutomatic Lofting System for lofting overhead lines junction,and describes the theory of thenew method by describing new mathematical model.By analysing the embedded systemstheory,select Embedded Visual C++development Environment for designing and developingautomated lofting systems,in order to make the Windows CE total station development as theplatform of Automatic Lofting System,so that the loft tunnel junction catenary methodproposed in this paper can fully compensate for the shortcomings and deficiencies of thetraditional methods.Realize the Interface Program、Data Communications Program、Totalstation controling program and Automatic Lofting Program by designing internal functions ofAutomatic Lofting System,and describe the function and action of self-developedMultifunction tripod in various parts,as well as how to be the operating platform forAutomatic Lofting System.Finally,introduce the theory of automated staking system forfurther,and describe changes and innovations brought by the method proposed in this paper byanalyzing examples of lofting overhead lines junction.
