Superconducting transformer is an important application field of superconducting technology in power system.Due to the low impedance of superconducting materials and high current density can efficiency reduce loss of transformer load and improve the efficiency of transformer;at the same time,with the development of high superconducting tape,especially the second generation of high superconducting tape,make the superconducting transformer further improve on technical and economic feasibility,superconducting transformer is expected to be high and new technology to conventional transformer.The thesis focuses on the simulation modelling of superconducting transformer according to characteristics and basic principle of superconducting transformer.Based on PSCAD and Mat Lab software to establish the simulation modelling,and carries on the simulation analysis in power system model,superconducting transformer and conventional transformer we are analyzes and compared when the power system occurs short-circuit fault or on-load closing,so that the advantage of superconducting transformer are known.First of all,the structure and characteristic of superconducting transformer is briefly introduced in this paper,and the development of superconducting transformer and its simulation now at home and abroad is described in detail;secondly,based on the superconducting strip zero resistance and super properties,the characteristic of superconducting transformer loss and leakage reactance,using PSCAD and Mat Lab,the simulation modelling of superconducting transformer is established;finally,put the superconducting transformer model into power system,when the power system occurs short-circuit or no-load closing,according to the results of simulation,superconducting transformer and conventional transformer are analyzed and compared in the short-circuit fault current,magnetizing rush current,excitation harmonics,etc.According to the advantage of superconducting transformer combining with the present situation of superconducting transformer,the application prospect of superconducting transformer in power system is analyzed.
