As the scale of cross-region transmission network in China grows,network structure gets complex,and new energy industry develops rapidly,power grid operation mode in the future becomes more and more diverse and the shape of power grid has greater impact on the multi-mode power mode.The assessment and analysis which aim at typical operation cannot meet the demands of electric power system operation analysis in the future and the traditional manual adjustment flow mode cannot meet the requirements of massive power flow analysis.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out the research on the extraction method of typical operating scene in transmission network based on actual power grid’s operation data.In order to solve this problem,the paper takes the characteristics of the grid operation mode as the research base,and adopts the improved DBSCAN algorithm,Kmeans algorithm and information entropy theory to carry out the related work.First of all,this paper analyzes the existing problems in the establishment and management of grid operation mode after having access to relevant literature.Secondly,it summarizes related theoretical overview in details.Then,on the basis of main factors affecting power grid operation mode,the characteristics of typical operating scene and the preprocessing data method are structured.Besides,it proposes a DBSCAN algorithm based on similarity coefficient for extracting feature variables.On this basis,the paper comes up with weighting distance algorithm on account of different characteristic variables’ permutation and combination entropy,which aim at difference degree measures’ problems in various operating scene.Moreover,in order to improve the traditional K-means algorithm,it adopts the optimal clustering number determination method and initial cluster point selection method,which effectively enhance applicability and reliability of K-means algorithm.Last but not least,the numerical results verify the validity and reliability of the model in this paper by combining practical calculation and analysis based on the actual power operation data in a certain region of China.
