As a typical river-type reservoir storage project,Michagou reservoir is an emergency water resource project,which is built to alleviate the water shortage for a long time in Dongfeng Irrigation Area and the problem that the water resources can not be fully utilized.Owing to the combined water dispatching with Fanjiachuan Reservoir and Qiaoergou Reservoir,it makes full use of the water of Michagou during the non-flood season to supplement the irrigation for Dongfeng Irrigation Area so as to improve the assurance rate of water supply in Dongfeng Irrigation Area.The reservoir dam site is located in the Bazhu Town of southeastern Huanxian County.It is 15 km away from the downstream Daowa zi-headwater diversion,and 36 km away from the county.The design total capacity of the Reservoir is 100,000 m3,the annual water supply 542,700 m3,and is Ⅴ-typesmall(2)project.The main regulating dam is designed according to the requirements for Level-4 building.The secondary and temporary hydraulic structure belongs to level 5.Flood control standards are designed by the 10-year flood control and 30-year flood check.The hub area is mainly composed of barrage and management areas.The operation mode of the Reservoiris is to maintain open drain during the flood seaons but store water as well as regulate water supply during non-flood seasons.The present design is aimed to conduct scheme comparison and selection as well as propose structure size design for the barrage.Besides,the present design is also aimed to do the safety check on the main constructions to ensure the safe operation of the reservoir.According to the topography,geomorphology and hydrogeological conditions of the project area,the design selection and arrangement of the main buildings are completed through the comparison and selection of the schemes.The design of the project is based on the engineering tasks and scale.The structural dimension design and safety check of the main buildings were carried out,and finite element analysis was carried out on the structural stress concentration of the buildings.The main design contents are as follows:1.According to engineering tasks and scale,the overall layout of the project hub2.According to the terrain,geological conditions,the project hub area for the overall layout.3.Through the program comparison and selection,the selection of the structure of the barrage.4.By using ABAQUS,the finite element analysis of the sluice gate and the radial gate bearing was carried out.5.According to the design results,the structural stability of the chamber was checked.
