In the twenty-first Century,forest tourism,in which a new way of ecotourism to res pond to the call of China’s "ecological civilization construction" national strategic policy.On the other hand,The rapid development of the forest park has created enormous soci al benefits.What’s more,it has not only satisfied the natural demands of modern people,but also promoted the transformation of industrial forestry structure.The subject is aimed at exploring the general methods and Strategies of planning and design of characteristic plain Forest Park,which through the planning and design p ractice of Forest Park in Bai wa forest farm of Jinxiang County,Shandong Province.On ly in this way,can the subject provide some reference and demonstration for the design of the plained Forest Park.The paper adopts literature research method,interdisciplinary research,comparative st udy and case to study,which summed up the difference characteristics of flat prototype and mountain Forest Park in landscape construction,characteristics of human resources,na tural resources characteristics,functional features,development degree and geographical dis tribution.Moreover,Four planning and design strategies of plain Forest Park are put forw ard on this basis,such as the transformation strategy,the multi space construction strategy,diversification strategies and cultural forest building strategy.To practice,the project ranges from preliminary site analysis to project design,which mainly consists five aspects to plan and design.In other words,water transformation,wat er system reconstruction,vertical design,forest culture and the transformation are used t o plan the plain Forest Park with the characteristics of Shandong and Jinxiang.
