With the development of society and economy,people's living standard is increasingly improved,and the relationship between human beings and animals becomes more and more intimate.The influence of animals' health condition is more and more obvious,more attention is paid to the health of animals,therefore there is a good prospect to R&D a low-cost,high-capability hematology analyzer for veterinary.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces current situation of hematology analyzer for veterinary both at home and abroad,specially analyzes the techniques,characteristics and deficiencies of mainstream hematology analyzer for veterinary,and ascertains the relevant functions and technical indicators for analyzers about to R&D.Secondly,according to the technical indicators,this paper applying advanced embedded technology and software programming techniques structures the embedded IDE with ARM as the core of hardware platform and Windows CE 5.0 as the software platform,and realizes the development of a certain automated blood analysis system which integrates sample dilution,signal acquisition and amplification,data processing and instrument maintenance and other functions.Due to the diversity of animals' hemocyte,it's difficult to realize the R&D purely applying a single detection mode and leukocyte classification.This paper employing the morph-cytology analytical approach and modern electronics technique determines characteristics of different zoo-blast signals,and accordingly devises various haemocytes detection modes for animals.Meanwhile,we devise a floating landmark leukocyte classification method,which can determines and sets the classification boundary markers automatically.Hence,we achieve the detection of diverse animals'haemocytes and ensure the accuracy and reliability for classification.Compared with the present counterparts in domestic and foreign markets,our instruments have the advantages of compact-structure,low-cost,high-precision,easy to maintenance and operate,etc.Through the tests both in internal laboratories and external hospitals,the instrument has received a positive feedback by the trial and has been in use in dozens of domestic pet medical institutions so far.
