At present, we have a higher degree of aging, the growth rate is very fast. With the increasing number of the aging population, China has changed since the last century, the implementation of the basic national policy of family planning, the full implementation of the second child policy, this policy adjustment is clearly for the aging society.How to improve the living space design of the elderly has become the focus of urgent attention in view of a series of special national conditions, such as the large population, the old age of the elderly, the change of the family population structure. China's traditional family pension model has been affected by the social environment, the child's work pressure, economic conditions, the impact of objective factors, more and more elderly people choose to live independently or community pension. Based on the analysis of the current situation of aging in China, and the problems and research results at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the current living conditions of the elderly in China and the transformation of the old-age model, the physiological characteristics, psychological characteristics, Space demand relationship, which depicts the elderly reasonable and comfortable living space design. In this paper, the main space of the elderly living space,facilities, hardware and software design and other aspects of a comprehensive exposition,and through a number of project implementation of the case, hoping to present the status quo can be helpful.
