Getting old before being capable of paying for their pension is the biggest problem in this period.For elderly, living is the chief factor. Unfortunately, we did not have enough research on this topic, and strong support in law. Besides, the researches are mostly fit for us. Since1990s, the development of building develops quickly. Some developers tries to build senior housing. But only rich can buy it because of the lagging conceptions of consumption.lt means that senior building is still under test.Based on the situation in Taiyuan, a lot of elderly live in the old buildings which are very out of date and can not fit for the needs of elderly.Some of the buildings even have safety implications. Most of elderly often complain that. We want to do barrier-free design to solve this problem. To make elderly live comfortably, we need consider the needs of elderly.We need to improve the living conditions. When we design for elderly, we should consider the needs of elderly, making them live safely, comfortably and thoughtful. It should be unique correspond to local characteristics.
