The Research Of Elderly Living Environment Design In An Aging Society

According to the Ministry of Health statistics, China’s 60 years of age or older has more than 180 million, and each year increasing the number of 500 million-800 million. By 2050, this number will reach 332 million, more than 23% of the total population. At present,26 provinces have entered the aging state. The aging society has come to our side, and affect our lives, economic, social and other aspects. Old before getting rich in China, and the large population base, the family changes in the population are special situations, and how to enable the elderly to health and comfort of their twilight years, has become the focus of attention of the whole society.The performance of an aging population is reflected in their daily lives is a pension model and the pension shift in attitudes. China’s traditional family pension mode by the impact of social environment, work pressures, economic conditions and other objective factors, a growing number of older people select the social pension. Apartments for the elderly is a relatively new type of pension in the Social Security Model.This paper analysis to understand the aging trend, and the comparison of the Aged way at home and abroad, summarized the current living situation and pension changes in the pattern of China’s elderly, and the drawn elderly physiological, psychological characteristics, as well as special demand, thus drawing out the elderly livable indoor and outdoor environment. The indoor and outdoor environment for the elderly living space systems analysis, to proceed from the indoor space, the scale of interior space, furnishings, barrier-free design, lighting design, color design; outdoor space, landscape design, plant configuration, park road design have all made a comprehensive exposition. This article can not only play the role of reference and guidelines for the design of the elderly living environment, and more from the endowment concept of filial piety culture start to explore the elderly living environment suitable for China for the elderly to create a comfortable, safe, healthy living space.
