Along with the high-speed railway speed increase,the operating environment of Pantograph-catenary system is more complex.Bad weather and rough roads cause pantograph-catenary arc frequently,so the stability and security of pantograph-catenary system needs to be further improved.Pantograph-catenary arc has become a important scientific problem in pantograph-catenary research.Pantograph arc not only seriously eroded pantograph slide plate and contact wire,but also produced high frequency radiation,which affected the safety and stability of on-board equipment.However,it is difficult to collect characteristic data of Pantograph-catenary arc in the actual running field,so it is very important to explore a method which can visually capture the arc related characteristics of Pantograph-catenary in the actual train operation.This paper introduces the method of extracting arc plasma morphological characteristics by pantograph arc image,and summarizes the corresponding rules.In this paper,the experiment is based on Pantograph arc test system of high speed railway.On the one hand,using the high speed camera and arc image and to obtain the arc voltage and current waveforms of dynamic pantograph synchronous acquisition system,keep a record of the electrical parameters of pantograph-catenary arc to form between the images and the corresponding out from generation,and use of digital image processing technology to extract relevant the arc image information,and then to the pantograph arc binarization image of the area and perimeter of the arc shape and the combustion intensity were analyzed,summed up the power parameters and arc arc shape characteristics,relationship between arc duration and the dynamic change of the arc shape quantitatived;on the other hand,analysis of texture feature extraction technology of arc image with image features,proposed by gray contour curve and gray level co-occurrence matrix to determine the plasma arc appearance.Further,the different operating conditions of the Pantograph-catenary system,arc shape characteristics and changes of plasma temperature,explores the catenary vibration gap distance and arc current on the arc area,perimeter and plasma texture influence,combined with the test results and the reasons of the arc theory describes the changes of related parameters.
