Railway transportation plays an important role in the development of modern society, It is the artery of the national economy, and has the advantages of economy, convenience, all-weather transportation and so on. In recent years,China has ushered in the rapid development of the construction of high-speed railway. The continuous improvement of train's top speed has brought great convenience to people's production and life, and it also poses great challenge to train control system. Only stable and reliable train operation control system can guarantee the safe operation of railway. In order to better develop the railway industry, after the unremitting efforts of the railway industry experts, China Train Control System CTCS came into being.In order to ensure the safe operation of the railway system, newly developed train control systems must be rigorously tested before they are put into service. If the train controlsystem is deployed in a real environment, it will not only consume a great deal of manpower and material resources, but also has a great potential safety hazard in the testing process. The CTCS-3 multi-train simulation and test platform in this paper provides a system-level test platform for CTCS-3 train control system that can highly restore the operational scene of real railway systems by using computer simulation technology, Making it possible to perform functional verification and equipment testing of the train control system in the laboratory.Based on CTCS-3 train control system specification, this paper has carried on the detailed research and the design to the CTCS-3 multi-train simulation and test platform, and based on Visual Studio 2012 development environment for the implementation. First of all, the paper made an intensive study of CTCS-3 train control system, determined the requirements of the simulation and test platform,and designed the architecture and subsystems; Then described the function realization, interface design and core algorithm of each subsystem in detail;Finally, summarized all the research contents, and put forward the proposal of platform optimization.
