Design And Implementation Of The Demostration System Of Vehicle Network Based On NDN

Vehicle network is an integrated network which is able to achieve the intelligence of traffic management,dynamic information services and vehicle control.With the rapid development of network technology,new technologies about the vehicle networking based on NDN(Named Data Networking)are emerging,only through simulation to explore the feasibility of the new technology is idealistic,therefor,setting up a demonstration system of vehicle networking based on NDN is of great significance.The NDN project team has implemented a V-NDN system to demonstrate the car networking scenes,but it is based on IP layer and can not completely abandon the influence of the IP protocol,furthermore,it exists interest redundancy in the transfer of large file.The thesis bases on NDN network prototype,deeps into the Linux kernel,designs and implements the vehicle networking demonstration system based on the MAC layer,and improves the request mechanisms of large file transfer.In this paper,the key technologies include sending and receiving raw data based on MAC layer,the construction of the NDN protocol and the design of UI.Details are as follows:1.Review the research situation of relevant technology at home and abroad,make a comprehensive description of the NDN architecture,packet type,node structure,data processing and naming mechanism.2.Put forward the overall design of the system,analyze the system requirements and divide the network module.Put forward the solution of the main network modules and the frame format,data structure and data flow,etc.3.Design and realize the operation process and logic of the demo system,according to the overall design scheme of the system.Mainly focus on the realization method of the underlying module,the protocol module and the UI module,moreover,design and implement the test cases of the system.4.Set up the network environment,implement the demonstration operation by the example of DTN scenario and cache scenario,which is typical in vehicle networking,statistic and analysis the result of the results.Results show that the system can demonstrate the workability of the vehicle networking based on NDN,which is convenient to operate,and can fully present the data flow and network performance.
