Design And Implementation Of PACS System Based On HTTP Protocol

With the wide application of digital medical imaging equipment in the hospital,the hospital of medical imaging and the related data storage and access management has also grown.Therefore,it is necessary to establish Picture Archiving and Communication System(PACS),which is very necessary to solve the storage and search of massive data and to help doctors diagnose.This paper firstly introduces the related technologies involved in the establishment of the PACS system,including HTTP,DICOM,etc.Then it designs and implemented a PACS system to meet the actual situation of the hospital which is based on the system design aims and principles.This design has the relevant requirements of hospital medical imaging examination.Finally,it test and analyzed the test results of the function and performance of the system.This paper describes the design and implementation of three parts,that is the image storage,image transmission,image browser.This system is characterized by the following points:using NAS as physical storage;storing easily,avoiding the single point of bottleneck,and achieving physical storage load balancing.It used HTTP communication protocol for video transmission which easily expansed the system function and shared image data.It also has the characteristics of the task queue cache strategy,the download strategy which is meet the requirements,and the progressive transmission strategy in the pool of resources in order that it can improve the speed of image access.This article is designed to achieve the PACS system,avoid some of the disadvantages of the traditional medical imaging,while in the realization of the basic functions on the increase in some optimization strategies and implementation.After the actual environment to test and prove the system can use better achieve access to medical imaging,storage,transmission,query and display,effectively improve the work efficiency of medical imaging diagnostic physician,it has some practical value.
