The power grid of eastern inner mongolia is located in china's complex climatic conditions, winds, snow and ice, extreme cold weather and other conditions brought great damage on the external insulation of power transmission equipment, Not only brought a lot of inconvenience to the power grid operation and maintenance, But also brought serious influence to the power supply reliability. Under the disadvantage of bad climate environment, wide supply area and decentralized load, How to do a good job in safety production in extreme cold weather, How to prevent the grid security risk by seasonal change, has become an urgent problem of power grid of eastern inner mongolia.Based on the geographical and climatic features of eastern inner mongolia, the dissertation for the professional master's degree analyzes the shortcomings of regular maintenance and post-maintenance, demonstrate the necessity and feasibility of condition based maintenance application in extreme cold weather, Propose the power grid of eastern inner mongolia transferring "Device management" To "Equipment status management", entirely apply condition based maintenance mode. Then, take transmission line and SF6 circuit breaker as example, to illustrate the types of power equipment main characteristic, further introduce the mode of state quantity acquisition,the state quantity evaluation and the disposal principle, elaborate the classification of equipment status and how to formulate differential maintenance strategy.The dissertation for the professional master's degree specializes in the influence of SF6 gas's liquefaction and breakdown characteristics in extreme cold weather, by analyzing the relationship between gas pressure, density and temperature, calculates the pressure which keep SF6 gas insulation equipment normal running under -55?.And test the breakdown characteristics of SF6 gas in different electric field and electrode environment, Find out the breakdown voltage of SF6 gas increases linearly with the increase of pressure, which becomes the operating standard on prevention SF6 gas liquefaction and switch locked in extreme cold weather of eastern inner mongolia power grid.
