Pumped storage power station,also known as storage-type hydropower station,pumped water to upper reservoir in the power load trough and discharge water to lower reservoir to generate electricity in the power load peak period.Because of domestic nuclear power and wind power,solar energy and other clean energ y power plant put into operation.The demand for peak-regulating FM power supply is becoming more and more urgent.Domestic pumped storage power station construction was accelerated.Design of Hydraulic Transition Process Regulation Guarantee is an important work of pumped storage power station construction feasibility study,and is of great significance to the safety of power plant operation.The study on safety of ball valve participation transitional process and optimization of the cooperative closure law of ball valve and guide vane is of great significance to improve the reliability of the construction of pumped storage power station and to ensure the safety of the completed power plant operation.In order to study the safty of ball valve participate in the transition process regulation,in this paper,CFD method is used to calculate and analyze the over flow characteristics of the ball valve.The calculation and analysis of the force during the closing process of the ball-valve is studied.The corresponding flow coefficient and local resistance coefficient of the ball valve are obtained.The force on ball valve in off ball valve process is studied.The above research results are of great significance to reduce the design and development cost of ball valve,improve the design accuracy and operation safety of power plant.
