The traditional village refers to a material and non-material cultural heritage,has a high historical,cultural,scientific,artistic,social,and economic values of the village,is a live carrier of local culture,gave birth to various forms of traditional culture,has witnessed the rise and fall of history.Currently in the country has registered survey of 12 thousand traditional villages in the rapid development of business,the rapid expansion of the city,still keeping the traditional style,the overall pattern of local culture,ancient village retained complete fall only two thousand or three thousand seat.This is enough to find the traditional village situation is not optimistic,if unchecked,we may lose the precious Historical and cultural heritage and national memory,the protection of traditional villages is imminent.The traditional village is an important attraction of rural tourism,this paper takes the traditional village houses as the research object,has practical significance for the promotion of tourism potential.This paper uses literature research method combing the domestic and foreign scholars on the protection of traditional villages,ancient villages,comparing the domestic protection for traditional village houses and other entities,mostly advocated"repair old as the old",pay attention to style transformation,repair of traditional houses or inevitably become the "empty nest".This paper attempts to people-oriented,concerned about the interests of the villagers,hope to allow the villagers to become the subject of activation of the protection of traditional villages and,through a series of measures to activate the initiative of people,with a new foothold.With the relevant functional departments to obtain information about the three traditional villages status information,resources,and quality in residential construction,residential.After the recruitment,use of questionnaires and interviews of the traditional village cognition and cognitive resources,the importance of the protection of traditional villages cognition,hindering factors of traditional village protection and development,the limitations of traditional village houses,"activation" measures of cognition and suggestions were investigated,after the data were obtained by mathematical analysis.The statistical method,this paper find out the problems of protection and utilization of residential,combined with Xinhua County in recent years in terms of protection and utilization of efforts to Zhenglong village,Xiatuan village "activation" experience as a starting point,based on the traditional village "activation" three conclusions,and some of the "active" classic case,from the system,benefit,culture,tourism,planning,livable,talent,capital and other aspects of 8 Xinhua County traditional village"activation" proposal,in order to improve the actual the effectiveness and development of traditional villages in Xinhua County,and the future research directions were discussed.
