In the north of China, there are a lot of snow, if the snow can not be cleared in time, it will become the compacted snow due to the vehicle, pedestrian repeatedly rolling down, not only cause people travel inconvenience, but also cause many accidents, threat to people’s life and safety seriously. Therefore, it is necessary in order to design and develop a highly efficient clean-machine to remove the compacted ice and snow.This topic comes from the cooperation project with Harbin Snow Wolf Co., ltd., This paper is to design an effective and efficient clean-machine to remove the compacted snow and ice to remove the compacted snow and ice quickly and effectively, convenient for people’s life.Firstly this paper introduces the background of the research, and summarizes the development status of ice breaking machinery and ice breaking mechanics.The physical and mechanical properties (density, strength, friction coefficient, etc.) of compacted ice and snow were summarized, the fracture mechanics and the theory of Mohr-Coulomb were submitted. Present the idea of the ice breaker of the rubber wheel and carry out the overall scheme design of the ice breaking mechanism (including the design of the structure and hydraulic).The concrete structural design of the ice breaking mechanism, including the lifting mechanism and the structural design of the ice breaking device. Combined with the mechanical characteristics of snow ice machine and the concrete structure on the ice in the ice breaking mechanism are analyzed. The analysis process is divided into two parts: analysis of single blade ice breaking process, the crushing process of ice and snow and ice surface can be separated into crack breaking; analyze the whole process of the ice breaking mechanism. The application of Mohr-Coulomb theory and the theory of fracture mechanics is analyzed on ice mechanics, and the rubber broken moon through ANSYS analysis to verify the reliability of the working device.The idea of vibration-breaking the ice is submitted for for the shortcomings of the static pressure of the ice breaking and the imperfect control of the ice breaking force. Using eccentric wheel as the vibration mechanism, the first order vibration and the two order vibration are analyzed, and the two order vibration is analyzed in detail, and the influence of different structural parameters on the amplitude of ice breaking mechanism and frame is analyzed firstly. Finally, the simple design of the vibration ice breaking mechanism is performed.The ice breaking process of ice-breaker are analyzed, and the moon for rubber for finite element simulation, analyzes its in static ice force, proved that the work of reliability in the process.
