New Construction Methodology For Jack Up Drilling Unit

With the development of the world economy on the increasing of energy consumption,offshore oil occupied in the whole energy consumption in the proportion is much higher.Offshore oil and gas production continued to increase. Meanwhile, active jack up rigs of original gradually retired bring updates the requirements, in the next few years more jack up drilling rigs and equipment market prospect is optimistic. After investigation and comparison of many jack up rigs construction data accumulation and experience, we find the critical path to shorten the construction cycle, i.e. cantilever and drilling derrick construction mode, leg erection techniques, jack-up drilling rig schedule management,. This study bases on the optimization of jack up drilling rig construction method to analysis of the shortcomings of the existing, and leads to a research of solid the construction methodology of jack up drilling unit.Under this background, this study mainly focus on jack-up rig construction method,comprised the experience and research of CIMC Raffles and other builder, we summarized the difficulties an questions in the cantilever construction methodology,leg construction and schedule management. And the specific solution is solidified, which makes the construction process more perfect, and provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the project cost,process, and the optimization of the construction. The main research contents are as follows:1) Study of construction mode of cantilever erection on landAfter analysis of problems and defects of the traditional cantilever construction mode, a new cantilever construction mode is proposed. Finish slip jig strength calculation of new cantilever beam construction, check of the ground strength calculation for hardware requirements. Identify key points after analysis of the new construction mode. Studied the benefits new cantilever construction mode from electrical and drilling system. In the implementation of new projects and shorten the construction period of the jack up projects.The new cantilever beam construction mode is the key research content of this study.2) Completed the study of new methods for leg erectionInvestigated the new leg erection method, and carry out the analysis for new methods influence the progress. Research the difficulties of the new leg folding process. After calculation and verification of leg lifting load rate and ground support strength to prove that new erection method of legs is effective.3) The research and application of new self-elevating platform construction plan management evaluation methodAfter analysis of existing defects and problems, to research and founded a new evaluation system to judge quality and effective of the project management from project management. Improved angle to analyze how to curing construction mode,shorten construction time limit for a project,in order to guide the construction strategy and high levels of decision. And in determining the main factors influence the pattern of production of platform based on the application of fuzzy theory, a two-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system for a new platform production mode is founded.
