Highway construction have been turned to focus on maintenance in our country and some road have appeared different types of pavement diseases after open to traffic,it is urgent need of a quick and effective pavement maintenance technology to repair diseases such as rut,crack and so on.Ultra-thin wearing course is a new technology of preventive maintenance which can extend the service life of pavement,improve the quality of driving,revise surface defects,improve the security,reduce noise and increase the strength of pavement.Ultra-thin wearing course usually adopt synchronous or step by step process to complete the modified asphalt emulsion adhesive layer of oil spraying and discontinuous gradation of hot mix asphalt mixture paving and paving thickness is usually 1.5?2.5cm.The advantages of ultra-thin wearing course is good adhesion with the original road surface,high strength,good durability,rich surface texture,good anti-sliding performance,high construction efficiency,quick speed construction,short time traffic opening.It can effectively solve diseases such as the minor cracks,slight loose,rut(less than 1.5 cm),surface water seepage,surface boundary,aging,anti-sliding performance degradation.It not only can be use on old road surface functional recovery,but also can be used to skid resistance layer of new pavement.This paper studies mix design of the synchronization of ultrathin wear course UTFC-10 and step by step ultra-thin wearing course SMA-10,then make comparative evaluation about related performance.Analyze temperature and the mount of tack coat influence on interlayer shear stress of ultra-thin wearing course.With the temperature rise interlayer shear strength decline,with the increase of tact coat interlayer shear strength first increase then decrease and appear a peak obtained by direct shear test;Different pavement structure and gradation type exist different optimal tack coat;Starting from the structural features of ultra-thin wearing course,study voidage of ultra-thin wearing course and texture depth of old pavement influence on optimal tack coat and propose the amount of tack coat of ultra-thin wearing course is 0.8?1.2 L/m2;According to the actual situation of the road,considering bonding conditions of pavement and different temperature conditions of road surface,the paper study interlayer maximum shear stress under vertical shaft load and horizontal force through BISAR software simulation.It proves that the worse the interlayer binding conditions of ultrathin wearing course,the greater the interlayer shear stress.So we must pay attention to the interlayer bonding process to ensure good interlayer bonding condition to resist shear stress damage.In this paper,through the performance evaluation and interlayer bonding condition research of ultra-thin wearing course,which can lay foundation of ultra-thin wearing course technology better popularization and application.
