Automotive production is the leading industry in the national economy,while the domestic market and the international market competition is becoming increasingly fierce,enterprises want to continue to develop,we must constantly improve its manufacturing level and product quality.And the performance of the engine is the most important index to measure the car.In the engine,the machining accuracy of the cylinder bore is the main factor that affects the performance of the engine.The honing process is capable of improving hole wall surface roughness cutting method has wide prospects of.This processing method can quickly remove a certain machining allowance,and reliably improve the surface roughness and precision of a semi finishing and finishing process.In recent years due to the automobile engine cylinder hole machining accuracy of the increasing demand,and put forward many new requirements for structural design of honing head.The design parameters of this paper mainly expounds the development status quo,honing head,cutting parameters.To use 3D modeling software for design visualization,and honing of the new structure is designed with the ordinary honing tool,machining simulation analysis.First,access to information about the working principle of honing,familiar with the structure of honing machine.Then focus on analysis of the existing structure of honing head,understand the existing structure of honing head defects,to determine the general hole processed by the overall design scheme of the honing head.Secondly,the design principle of the honing head structure and query the relevant manuals on the detailed design of specific parts of each part,then check the individual parts,the honing head is designed to ensure reliable operation of grinding,honing head structure and the assembly modeling module UG Application module in the drawing set.Then the processing module into the processing environment for processing simulation tool path honing tool grinding at.By using MATLAB simulation software,to simulate the cutting path of honing stones.Influence of structure combined with cutting tool path trajectory and whetstone on the machining accuracy and improve honing head.Finally,to compare the design of honing head and ordinary honing tool,using the VERICUT simulation software to processing a variety of shapes on the market of the hole machining simulation,select the appropriate test method were compared and analyzed from various dimensions,in order to optimize and improve the design of honing knife tool.
