The cylinder head is one of the most important parts in the engine.Because of the complex structure of the cylinder head,machining precision and efficiency is always the key in engine production,it’s important to study machining process.Cylinder head machining process is mainly affected by the influence of workpiece structure,machining equipment,cutting tools,etc.Meanwhile,the precision of the machining center,speed and stability determines the machining accuracy and efficiency.In addition,the application of automation system integration technology in the machining center is an important aspect of the cylinder head machining.In this paper,with a four cylinder engine cylinder cover as an example to study the influence rules of these factors on the cylinder head machining efficiency and accuracy,and process of the ways and methods to improve.For four cylinder engine,this paper studied engine cylinder head the actual machining technology level of the market,and the parameters and characteristics of key equipment,and cylinder head structure characteristics relating to process;also analyzed the process factors that influences the machining accuracy of the cylinder head: including the cylinder head fixture hydraulic pressure,cutter cutting force of machining error,and cylinder head machining difficulty.This paper also discusses the machining center equipment factors on the cylinder head influencing machining accuracy.Also,cylinder part drawings、operation numbers、equipment quantity and process is analyzed,meanwhile,better process parameters and equipment status is adjusted by commissioning capacity.Through the analysis of Lagrange interpolation method and least square method,quasi legal,neural network method,to establish the mathematical model between the parameters and the accuracy of processing to obtained the optimized cylinder head machining processAlso,this paper proved the process is optimized in the production cycle and processing load balancing,analyzed accuracy error by statistics method based on machining data,and using MATLAB programming quickly and accurately draw histogram analysis of normal distribution,the analysis of processing capacity value,the verification of cylinder head scheme optimization.
