The urban construction in ancient China is full of natural landscape features,”People live along the water,fishing for a living”,early human activities were centered on rivers,urban waterfront as the most prosperous part of city,is closely related to the development of the city.However,with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization,lead to urban waterfront landscape environment was occupied and the ecology was disturbed.Faced with ever more serious water ecological problems,the urban waterfront landscape is vital for urban construction and development.LID as the new mode of urban development and construction,in recent year.It functions for reduces surface runoffs,control non–point sources and prevent flooding,will bring the benefits of increase value of land,cost savings.It apply to urban waterfront landscape construction,is very helpful for solve the city drainage problems,promotion of urban quality and promoting sustainable development of cities.The article focuses on the urban waterfront landscape updated basedon LID,the theory combined with landscape architecture,landscape ecology,hydrology,urban planning,municipal engineering,environmental engineering,etc.Combined with the current domestic and international relevant theoretical research,technical measures,design practices,regulatory guidelines,This paper analyzes the present situation of urban river landscape,the utilization of rainwater and the application of LID facilities in our country.It sums up the optimization strategies about catchments engineering measures,landscape engineering measures and non-object measures.Based on conceptual design of east bank of Huangpu River,for further discussing the regeneration strategies and its application.In the end,we can get the complete update renewal system.Make a contribution to the sustainable development of urban waterfront landscape.
