Electrical joint compound is used in electric connectors,which can play a role in reducing resistance,oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.Based on the mechanism of electrical joint compound,this paper studies the effect of electrical joint compound,establishes the influence factor test,studies the protective effect and mechanism of electrical joint compound in hot environment and vibration,and the combination of experimental data life impact used in the electric connector assessment,as well as the electrical joint compound can bring economic benefits analysis after it's widely used.According to electrical joint compound protection research in thermal environments,the establishment of 400A,600A,800A,respectively,1000A temperature rise test under different current,a high current temperature rise test of electrical connector with or without electrical joint compound is carried out.Comparing the temperature rise and the contact resistance of the electric connector tests the protective effect of electrical joint compound.Research on the protective effect of electric power composite grease in vibration,vibration test of electric connector with different vibration frequency of 10Hz,20Hz and 30Hz were established.The electric connector with no coating was tested,and comparing the electrical resistance of the electric connector contact interface tested the protective effect of the electrical joint compound.By combining the results of two tests and data analysis,a suitable life prediction model is established.Through the life fitting of the experimental data,a kind of life evaluation method for electric power distribution is proposed.Combined with the test results and the practical application,the power consumption and maintenance costs of a 35KV substation are analyzed and the economic benefits of the power composite fat are analyzed.Test results show that the power of the electrical joint compound has obvious effect on reducing the contact resistance of the electric connector.Experimental results show that the electrical joint compound can reduce the temperature of the electrical connector contacts,and can reach 10 degrees,and it can maintain the contact resistance in the continuous flow process is not significantly increased,in the normal flow situation,contact resistance increased by no more than 2 micro ohm.Combined with the actual use of the situation,the application of electrical joint compound can reduce the contact resistance of about 35%,which is very important to extend the life of the electric connector.At the same time,because of the reduction of the electric power,the contact resistance of the electric connector can be saved at each joint,which can play an important role in the sustainable development of China's power grid.
