Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis(FMECA)and Fault Tree Analysis(FTA)are commonly used methods to research reliability of large complex products.Engineering practice has proved that,FMECA and FTA method in project design,production,test and maintenance process,has played a significant role.The method of FMECA and FTA can be used independently because of their respective advantages,but there are also some shortcomings and insufficiency,so it is very meaningful to study the comprehensive integrated method considering advantages of both FMECA and FTA.In addition,the process of FMECA and FTA are cumbersome,which need huge effort(such as the need to fill out the form,and to draw the fault tree diagram,etc.),so it's inefficient and easy to make mistakes to depend on manual work itself.Therefore,FMECA and FTA integration analysis system is developed using computer technology in the auxiliary software,which can greatly improve the efficiency of FMECA and FTA in complex product.In this paper,the principle of some of the information can be shared with each other in FMECA and FTA is used to study the method which can draw fault tree automatically to conduct FTA based on FMECA.Then by taking Visual Studio c#as software development tools,relational database SQL Server as the database software,a software that can conduct FMECA and FTA integrated analysis is developed,which is suitable both for turbofan engine and common complex mechanical system.Software can realize the function of:FMECA and FTA integration,the automatic establishment of fault tree;standardized data input and output,commonly used FMECA and FTA qualitative and quantitative analysis,data search,sort and save printing function.Finally in the design and development of computer aided software,FMECA aircraft turbofan engine model is established first,and then the engine fault tree diagram is obtained automatically.Compared with traditional method of fault tree,the software correctness and practicality has been verified.
