Texi Drivers' Lane-changing Behavior Study With Structural Equation Modeling

The taxi is one of the important members of the city road use, is also an important urban public transport. Taxi to meet residents and alleviate the pressure of the public transportation rode an important contribution. With the speeding up of urbanization process, the development of the taxi industry is growing. Due to the service operation in a different way,relative to the other cars, taxi has characteristic of guest, call up and down frequently,because of its constantly looking for passengers, making driving acceleration, deceleration,slow, relatively high frequency of lane changing. Taxi drivers get master behavior characteristics, which is beneficial to prevent traffic accidents caused by taxi, reduce the risk of accidents, improve the urban road traffic safety.Based on the review of the taxi, on the basis of related research, studies the influence factors of the pilot lane change behavior, by combining the taxi industry characteristic out of the taxi drivers change lanes behavior influence factor, and the taxi drivers for Chengdu subjective behavior of sample survey, survey of 500 copies of questionnaires, the valid questionnaires is 472. For scientific taxi drivers lane change behavior, this paper analysis the taxi driver behavior characteristics,a lane change to exogenous latent variables,endogenous latent variable and the dependent relationship between the observed variables make assumptions, using structural equation model to establish the taxi drivers change lanes behavior influence mechanism of causal structure equation model and taxi drivers change lanes behavior process equation, the path of the relationship between the variables and fitting.Analyzed the taxi driver's individual properties, roads,environment and passengers and lane change behavior, the relationship between the influence factors in the process of lane change behavior. The results show that the taxi driver because of the different individual attributes significant differences on the lane changing behavior, the road surroundings of the taxi and passenger attributes is the influence factors of lane change behavior; Taxi driver of personal observation variables expected income and the distance between the front road environment,the potential number of passengers has important influence on the lane changing behavior of the taxi. Taxi drivers in the process of the lane changing behavior affected by personal attributes and double lane change the purpose of, among them up and down a lane change is the most significant.Based on structural equation taxi drivers change lanes behavior research results,combining with the reality of Chengdu taxi management measures, aimed at reducing the taxi drivers change lanes behavior problems, to raise the taxi driver entry barrier, reasonable planning and operational sites, perfect the management system of paid use, improve the taxi regulation mechanism, crack down on illegal operation vehicle the five aspects put forward relevant Suggestions and provide certain reference basis for regulating the taxi management.
