This paper expounds the basic concept of smart grid data, summarizes the current situation of domestic and international smart grid data research and engineering applications, and summarizes the theoretical basis and technical system of large data.This paper analyzes the generation, transmission and use of big data in all aspects of electrical source and characteristics. For the smart grid, the large data processing scheme is designed in three aspects:1.A data intensive storage method based on cloud computing is designed. Research on large data storage scheme of smart grid based on cloud computing. Smart grid data continues to grow rapidly, the pressure of data storage is more and more large, to make full use of storage resources, to meet the actual needs of smart grid data storage and efficient processing of large data;2.A large data processing scheme based on feature information is designed. The scheme is simple to the massive data of intelligent power grid, discard redundant data,retain the valuable data, and sort out the characteristic data and special data for large data applications;3.A data intensive storage method based on cloud computing is studied. Smart grid data continues to rise sharply, data storage is faced more and more pressure. In order to make full use of storage resources, smart grid data storage scheme based on cloud computing, to a certain extent, is suggested to meet the actual needs of smart grid reliable storage and efficient processing of large data.Big data cannot do without the cloud computing, the smart grid data, respectively from the grade distribution of cloud structure, simple data processing based on cloud to cloud storage were studied from different levels following by several solutions for smart grid data. What's more, big data needs further study for more perfect treatment.
