Study On The Project Cost Control Based On BIM In IPD Mode

The cost control of the construction project is of great significance,which is relating to the conservation of the resource and the improvement of the project efficiency.Under the traditional delivery modeling,the participants involving only when they are needed,as the communication between them are less and the information integration is very poor,leading to the production efficiency is very low,and the waste of resources is very serious、cost overrunning and construction delaying.The promotion of the Building Information Model(BIM),and the emerge of the Integrated Project Delivery(IPD)mode,pointing out the direction to solve the existing problems in the construction industry.This paper discusses the influence of cost control from the perspective of the integration of BIM and IPD mode.Firstly,this paper made the current situation of the construction industry as the background,and the problem in the implementation process as the start point,according to analysis the literature about IPD mode and BIM in the application of cost control,and the integration of BIM and IPD mode at home and abroad,and combined with the basic concept of IPD mode and BIM,this three part are made as the theoretical basis of this paper;secondly,based on analyzing the synergy of BIM and IPD,then,made the collaborative application mode,the intensively research are made about the integrating of IPD and BIM on the application of cost control;finally,through the case simulation,using the method of quantitative research,the application effectiveness and implementation effect are analyzed about using BIM technology in the whole life cycle cost control in IPD project.Comparing with the traditional mode,the BIM technology in the IPD mode has a higher degree of coordination and adaptability,and the integration application of them can effectively control the cost of each stage of the construction project implementation process.With the popularization of BIM technology,and the practice of IPD mode,the collaborative application of the two will be more and more,and the role of cost control will be more and more obvious.
