The current air route configurations in China are mostly developed and upgraded from the simple air route structures built since 1949.However,with the increasing demand for air transport,the capacity of airspace has been difficult to carry increasing flight traffic.Combining the real configurations with the domestic operation will help solve the intersection problem due to the large flows.Firstly,after discussing the relationship of the intersection point capacity and the flight conflict density,the intersection point capacity model based on potential conflict is proposed,which focused on the influence of the intersection angle and flight speed.Taking the typical route configurations around the intersection points VYK and WHA,the intersection characteristics based on the actual ADS-B data and radar data are analyzed from the aspects of traffic flow,flight level,speed and so on.The influential elements of the theoretical model into the actual operation to be discussed,so that the optimization of route configuration more practical.Secondly,combining the theoretical capacity model and the actual track data analysis,summed up the influencing factors of the intersection point,the method to expansion capacity was proposed.: decentralized the traffic flow and dimension simplification.The design idea of the decentralized method has been introduced briefly.According to the idea of dimension simplification,the principle of reducing the dimension optimization model and the dimensionality reduction route is studied,and a reliable route optimization model is provided for the simulation.Finally,the simulation model is proposed by using Total Airspace and Airport Modeller.Optimized route angle and one-way circulation segment has been added to the optimization route configuration.The simulation results before and after optimization were compared.The simulation results show that it is possible to reduce the number of flights in the reference sector by providing the capacity space for the growing traffic flow.Meanwhile,the average number of flights passing the intersection point and reference sector has been reduced.For air traffic controllers,the workload of coordinate conflicts has also been released and the capacity of a intersection point will be enlarged.
