Passive energy dissipation technology is a new structure design method developing in recent years.It is more safe,economic and reasonable than traditional structural design method,especially suitable for using in cases where earthquakes are unpredictable.The energy dissipation system,realized by adding some energy dissipaters into structure which will dissipate more vibration energy,can make sure that the structures are safe in earthquake or satisfy their normal function in wind.A number of energy dissipation systems have been developed in the past two decades,such as friction dampers,metallic dampers,viscous-elastic dampers and viscous dampers.In this paper,a new kind of dissipative installing is presented,damper with concrete-filled steel tube ductility column.This kind of damper,composed of one or more(3 to 5)ductile concrete-filled steel tube,has its rigid mount up and down.The columns in the damper have the same height,which are one third or one second of a floor.This damper can be set to the first floor of the soft first storey structure or the layer floor of the high rise building.Based on the experiment,this dissertation analyzes its seismic property and draws some important conclusions.On the basis of the above research.We bring forward a kind of damper with concrete-filled steel tube ductility column in my dissertation.From numerical simulation analysis we find that the concrete-filled steel tube ductility column damper yields firstly during the earthquake,which call dissipate a part of seismic energy.But when the model arrives to a specific displacement,the concrete-filled steel tube ductility column damper will be more contributing to it,which enhance the rigid,ductility and sELsmic property of the whole model.Also we programmed out the P(35)-curve of the square and rectangular section model under the cyclic loading by using ABAQUS on the basis of fiber theory,taking in to account the ductility enhancement caused by horizontal constriction.And the programmed analysis basically accord with the experiment results.Low cyclic loading experiment is a important method to value the seismic property of the structures or the elements.What I illustrated on the above mostly base on this numerical simulation method.But the earthquake comes accidentally and its action on the construction is simultaneously,so we should consider the effect to the structures by the loading velocity.Based on this,we put the big bottom space structure with highductile braced damper on the shaking table and analyze the response of the structure under in putting 3 seismic Waves(EL Centro,Taft,Tianjin)and arrive at some important conclusions about the structures' action under the earthquake.
