One of the main factors that affect the efficiency of transmission line fault location is the accuracy of fault location,there are two major categories of fault finding principles,one is the impedance method and the second is the traveling wave method,fault location device has a protective device,fault recorder,traveling wave distance device,traveling wave distance measuring device can be divided into two kinds of substation or overhead transmission lines,the latter is directly mounted on transmission lines due to its higher accuracy.Lightning,external damage and typhoon three types of external factors caused by Zhanjiang transmission line failure accounted for more than 95%,different types of fault types have different ranging accuracy.This paper mainly analyzes and studies the cause of the fault of Zhanjiang Power Network 220 kV overhead transmission line in the past five years,to study the correlation between different fault causes and effective fault location values,it is suggested that different fault types are based on the fault location data of the existing fault location device.Based on the characteristics of 220 kV overhead transmission line in Zhanjiang Power Grid,the distributed distance measuring device with Zhanjiang power grid is arranged.The characteristics of distributed traveling wave fault location and the system configuration are studied.The fault location of the transmission line also includes the process of calculating the fault zone according to the fault distance value,reaching the fault scene and confirming the fault point.The process nodes will also affect the efficiency of the fault point positioning to a large extent.Considering the influence of the wire sag,calculate the actual length of the wire,and establish the span table based on the actual length of the transmission line conductor;Combine the navigation system with the coordinates of the tower point of the transmission line to establish the transmission tower pole and the driving route with the emergency navigation function;To explore the latest UAV visible shooting technology,apply it to the transmission line fault point confirmation process.
