Study On The Characteristics And Satisfaction Of Intercity Traffic Trip

With the rapid development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,intercity traffic has become increasingly prominent in the development of urban agglomeration.Guangzhou and Foshan are located in the core area of the Pearl River Delta,which go ahead integration development of the Pearl River Delta.With the development of Guangzhou and Foshan integration,the communication and contact between the two cities get increasingly close,stimulating the growth of intercity trip demand.However,the strength and density of intercity trip rise so sharply that the construction and development of intercity traffic can't keep up with the increase of trip demand,starting to restrict the development of the integration of Guangzhou and Foshan.By studying the characteristics and satisfaction of intercity trip of Guangzhou and Foshan residents,we can learn the characteristics of the intercity trip demand and the present situation of intercity traffic service.Based on the results,important basis for the construction and development of intercity traffic infrastructure can be put forward.And the results can also be uesd to provide guidance for the scheduling and adjustment of intercity transportation system.First of all,referring to research results at home and abroad,this paper analyzed the concept and connotation of the intercity trip and trip satisfaction.And the satisfaction index of intercity trip is introduced to characterize the intercity traffic service level,which is composed of subjective and objective indexes.Then,according to the current situation and distinguishing feature of Guangzhou and Foshan intercity traffic,the questionnaire survey on the characteristics and satisfaction of intercity trip of Guangzhou and Foshan was conducted.Based on the survey data,the characteristics of intercity trip of Guangzhou and Foshan were analyzed by adopting the difference examination and correlation analysis in mathematical statistics,including trip frequency,trip time,trip purpose,trip mode and so on.By the analysis,the demand characteristics of intercity trip can be understood.Secondly,in order to identify the main influencing factors on intercity trip satisfaction and analyze the mechanism of various factors,the Ordinal Classification Logit model was used to account for the correlation between intercity trip satisfaction and the factors.The regression analysis showed that some variables had significant correlation with the trip satisfaction,such as the passengers' education background,workplace,the number of trips,preferred trip mode and trip time.The results of regression analysis laid the foundation for the following research.Finally,the Entropy Weight Method was used to develop the evaluation model for quantitative analysis and objective evaluation on the intercity trip satisfaction of Guangzhou and Foshan.And the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to improve the satisfaction of intercity trip.In addition,dividing the group of passengers into different types by their educational background,satisfaction index and weights of indexes of each type of intercity trip groups were calculated.The evaluation results of trip satisfaction can not only reflect the residents' satisfaction status and intercity traffic service level,but also provide guidance and basis for the construction and development of the intercity traffic of Guangzhou and Foshan in the future.
