The Case Study On The Roof System Of Small Building

Roof system as building system provided shelter for people is the most basic function of the system and it has an important position in the architectural creation.Because it is not only irreplaceable functional status,but also is the most important focus of visual sense of skyline.Since ancient times,the roof design difficulty increases gradually with the increasingly higher building system complexity and building function content..Therefore,it is necessary for us to analyze roof system in the enlarging diversified architectural design methods,and sort out the regularity of the results applied to architecture creation in the future.This article based on a global scale to select a large number of roof system of modern architectural works,adopts the method of drawing,investigation,induction and summary for the material selection,design methods,construction methods and elaborates the characteristics and law of development and trying to form a roof system case integration of informative,for architects in the small-sized building roof system design exploration and creation to provide design basis,design possibilities and choose the direction as much as possible.Form is a result of moulding,but it is also appear with its own reasons.But there is also an important problem which is how to classify these cases in the contemporary practices.This article summarized from Semper research results,put forward the classification method based on the corresponding relations between elements and operations,and analyze and summarize on the basis of the above cases.On this basis,contrasts and analyzes the cases of system of materials,structural system and construction system in the process that tease out some experience and methods in the design of small and medium-sized building roof.In this way,the design research of the roof system will show its important value with the architects’ increasingly diverse explorations and design practices in the future.
