Folk house is the most complex tape,the most abundant type and the widest coverage type.It is the most primitive and basic unit.Its development is parallel to the evolution of human civilization.Scholars never cease to research folk house.The importance of folk houses study is self-evident.But the research areas still incomplete.As far as the Shaanxi folk houses area is concerned,researchers are more ingtersted in the somewhere has obvious geographical features and somewhere has wide influence.While residential research such as the Luonan County,which is the cultural circle of Han River tributaries area,is still relatively blank.Therefore,this paper carries on the investigation to the representative County town in Luonan County,and studies the characteristics and development of the traditional vernacular dwellings.And finally make a creative practice of Shang Luo building.This paper will start from the data collection,investigation and research.In Luonan County,choosing several well preserved traditional vernacular dwellings.After a detailed investigation,analyzes and summarizes,show all the spatial structure,the construction and the architectural form of local traditional houses and dwelling in now days.At the same time,the paper studies the traditional architectural elements and summarizes the characteristics of the traditional vernacular dwellings in Luonan County.Based on those,the paper discusses the inheritance and translation of the traditional vernacular dwellings in the new era.And the above all,use the research as the basis of Luonan County Qifeng Bay folk village project.With all the constructing,with the use of local people and tourists,hope the design can enlight others.
