Research On The Eastern Orthodox Church Building Of The Chinese Eastern Railwry

In 1898,Russian culture was introduced into the Chinese northeast region along with the construction of the Chinese Eastern R ailway(C.E.R).As an important part of Russian culture,spread of the Eastern Orthodox accompanied with a large number of Eastern Orthodox Church building.Thus,the Eastern Orthodox Church became a brilliant part of C.E.R.architectural culture.This paper considers the Eastern Orthodox Church along C.E.R.as the research object and by means of field investigation,literature research,case analysis,comparative analysis and other research methods for study.From the macro perspective,this paper analyzes the development and historical evolution of the Eastern Orthodox Church along C.E.R.,and divides the construction of the Eastern Orthodox Church into three periods: the early construction period(1898-1917),the prosperous period(1918-1931)and the decline period(1932-1945).In view of the construction of the church at different stages of the discussion,it summed up the law and characteristics of its development.And from the analysis of the situation about the distribution and site of the Orthodox Church,it summed up the location and distribution principle of the church along C.E.R..Outline the development path and distribution of the Eastern Orthodox Church,in order to make people have a macro understanding of the Orthodox Church.From macroscopic to microcosmic,this article further discusses the characterization of the church building along C.E.R..Firstly,the Eastern Orthodox Church buildings along C.E.R.are classified according to the material and function.They are divided into wooden church,brick and stone structure on the basis of material and divided into community-based,educational,military type,cemetery type,subsidiary type and so on according to function.Secondly,under the summary of the plane and space of the church building alon g C.E.R.,they are divided into five forms,and thus the formation of different forms of space.Finally,from the angle of architectural art,the article analyses the facade,the roof type system and the decoration language of the church,that people have a more clear understanding of the senses on the characterization of the Eastern Orthodox Church buildings.From the macro view to the analysis of architectural characterization,and finally the research rises to the cultural level and interprets the Eastern Orthodox church building along C.E.R.from it.First of all,it is the interpretation of the Orthodox Church construction ideas and then the study of the culture spread which takes the churches as the carrier.Finally,the paper discusses the cultural characteristics of the Orthodox Church to show the unique cultural connotation of the Eastern Orthodox Church along C.E.R.In conclusion,from the macro perspective,this paper sort out the historical evolution and distribution of the Eastern Orthodox Church along C.E.R.;entering the micro part,the church building characterization was discussed and summarized;finally,the Eastern Orthodox Church was discussed and analyzed from the cultural aspects that in order to make people have a clear understanding on the construction characterization,the sequence of events and cultural connotation of the Eastern Orthodox Church which along C.E.R..At the same time,the research provides a basis data for the protection and restoration of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
