process,it has been inseparably blended with the social and economic activities of the area.Generally speaking,the production and life of the residents of the block and the people who have intersection in the historical block have been rooted in the historical block.It is precisely because of the protection of these people and the protection of historical buildings and monuments that the historical block can be protected and retained..But this kind of semi-liberal protection mode has been seriously affected in the modern economic society.Economic interests drive the real estate industry to invade urban land.High-rise buildings surround the historical block on all sides.The historical block is more and more like a "city village" in the city.The culture of the urban historical block is shaky.Under this trend,the protection and update of the historical block will gradually become the city The focus of construction and development.At present,the methods of protecting and renewing historical blocks are still using the usual methods of urban planning,but they are no longer sufficient for historical blocks that integrate historical buildings,urban culture,economic development,and social relations.The development of historical neighborhoods should not be based on sacrificing one side.In the past,some failed cases of renewal of ancient towns and historic districts have issued strong warnings.The historical neighborhood is an invisible wealth of cultural and spiritual coexistence left in the process of urban development.It is a place where the urban construction culture is most concentrated,and it is also an important guarantee for the sustainable development of urban culture.Its development status is directly related to the urban economy.Therefore,in order to treat the renewal and transformation of historical districts,we must conduct a detailed analysis in combination with more diversified and more scientific means,and propose effective strategies and make reasonable plans.The rapid development of China's urbanization and the active transformation of cities have provided good opportunities for the application and expansion of spatial syntax,especially for the renovation of urban villages in cities,and the renovation and reconstruction of historical "dual repair" historical blocks in cities.With the application of a scientific method,it can effectively measure and analyze some spaces in the old neighborhoods of the city,and the analysis results can provide an effective basis for urban traffic grooming,public space layout,and commercial network layout.Of course,planningmethods based on scientific rationality are not limited to this,and the integration of scientific methods in planning work will also be a development trend.The protection of historical neighborhoods and economic development will eventually change the situation of opposition,and will instead join the virtuous circle of urban reform.This study conducts practical research on how spatial syntax participates in the renovation and reconstruction of historical blocks.Based on the theory and methods of spatial syntax,it analyzes and judges the historical blocks on Yuejin Road in Mianyang City,and finally proposes strategies for the spatial renewal and reconstruction of blocks.This thesis is divided into six components:Chapter 1: The first part of the article,the introduction part of the article,including the background,purpose and significance of this research.In addition,it introduces the concepts involved in this research,the research objects,methods and objectives of this article,and on this basis,the framework of the article is formulated to facilitate the subsequent smooth research and writing.The second chapter is the summary of the thesis.The main contents are summarized and analyzed from two levels at home and abroad.The three contents are urban form,historical block and space syntax.The third chapter: the analysis of urban morphology and block evolution in Mianyang city,mainly from two aspects,the first is to analyze the rise and fall of Mianyang city and its reasons based on historical data,and the second is to analyze the evolution of urban morphology in different years in Mianyang with space syntax.Combining the two,the development orientation of Yuejin Road block in Mianyang City was analyzed accurately.It provides an important basis for the later analysis of the status quo of the historical block of Yuejin Road.Chapter 4: Combined with the positioning of the Yuejin Road block,using space syntax to carry out a comprehensive analysis combining quantitative and qualitative analysis,it mainly researches from the three aspects of block shape evolution,block space interpretation,and block empirical investigation.Significant problems with block space.Chapter 5: Research on the strategy of block space renewal.Based on the basic analysis of Chapter 4,the existing problems of the Yuejin Road are analyzed,and related strategies for the space renewal of the Yuejin Road block are proposed.The basic principles followed and the models that can be used for reference.Finally,the topic of this study is used to discuss the specific participation methods of spatial syntax in the process of updating and reforming historical blocks.Chapter 6: Explains the main steps and methods of this research,summarizes the research and its deficiencies,and puts forward new ideas for subsequent research.
