Research On The Protection And Renewal Of The Historical And Cultural District Of Kaiyuan Temple In Zhengding Based On The Concept Of Micro Renewal

As an important carrier of urban memory,historical and cultural blocks carry the values,aesthetic emotions,lifestyle,and folk culture of the entire society,and have generated special historical and cultural connotations on this basis.However,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,the contradiction and conflict between the construction of new urban areas with rapid population expansion and the construction of old urban areas with profound traditional humanities are becoming increasingly prominent,The protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks are facing new challenges.Zhengding County,located in the upper part of the Jizhong Plain,is the main bearing point of Shijiazhuang’s "one river and two banks" comprehensive development plan.Kaiyuan Temple Historical and Cultural Block,known as the landmark of Zhengding Ancient City,is located in the pattern of double cross streets and alleys in Zhengding.It is the essence of Zhengding Ancient City together with Longxing Temple and plays a vital role in the development of the ancient city.Although the historical and cultural district of Kaiyuan Temple retains many of the essence of a famous historical and cultural city,there are still many problems with the overall landscape style of the district,and even various traffic problems have emerged,bringing huge challenges to the protection and renewal of the ancient city.This article aims to use more scientific research methods and related technical means to strengthen the protection and renewal of the historical and cultural district of Kaiyuan Temple.This paper makes full use of the theoretical framework of micro renewal,and combines with the summary and analysis of relevant cases at home and abroad.Through the field investigation and research of Kaiyuan Temple Historic Block,it analyzes the historical development process of Zhengding Gucheng District and Kaiyuan Temple Historic Block.Starting from the physical environment of the block,it intuitively finds and feels the current serious problems,such as the disorder of street space Problems such as outdated transportation facilities and loss of historical and cultural characteristics.Through the application of Space syntax,the paper objectively analyzes the changes of the streets in Gucheng District,as well as the spatial structure inside the street,and deeply discusses the accessibility and visibility of the overall space of Kaiyuan Temple historical and cultural street.Finally,combined with the current situation of Kaiyuan Temple block and the conclusion of Space syntax analysis,the paper uses the idea of micro renewal to study the current situation of the space of Kaiyuan Temple historical and cultural block through the three parts of overall space,"line"space and node space,and takes corresponding optimization measures.By dividing the overall spatial layout of the block and selecting appropriate intervention points,the activation method first triggers the "micro" space to effectively utilize the historical context of Kaiyuan Temple,optimize their spatial structure,improve their use value,and awaken their spatial vitality to promote sustainable development of the block.Through the perspective of "micro updates",we hope to bring effective protection and renewal to the historical and cultural blocks of Kaiyuan Temple in Zhengding,and also provide some creative improvement measures,in order to provide ideas and references for the protection and renewal of similar historical and cultural blocks in the future.
