The characteristic of more than one power source makes the structure and control of the hybrid electric vehicles much more complex.Due to the control of the hybrid electric vehicles is susceptible to the effect of the real running environment,it is necessary to research the running environment in the development of a control strategy.For hybrid electric buses,consideration the running environment factors based on its running route while develop the control strategy,and then optimal the control strategy,this may further improve the vehicle’s fuel economy.In this paper,a bus route operation and the hybrid electric bus on this route in Tianjin are selected as the research object.Based on the analysis of the general running rules of this hybrid bus on the route,the power system structure model and control strategy model are built by the use of CRUISE and Matlab/Simulink software.Optimal the control strategy with the goal of the optimization of vehicle fuel economy,combining with the real drive cycle,and then through the co-simulation of the two softwares,it can be proved that the fuel economy can be further improved with hybrid control strategy that based on the actual operation condition.First of all,through the survey of the new energy bus running route in Tianjin,a running route that contains variety of road types has been selected.Through the running information collection,and the analysis of collected data with applying statistical theory,a typical driving cycle that can reflect the general running rules of the route has been constructed.Secondly,collecting and calculating the hybrid system components’ parameters based on the selected bus,complete the construction of the vehicle and hybrid electric system structure model by using the CRUISE software.Then,using the Matlab/Simulink software to build the control strategy that based on the rules control method.Finally,using CRUISE and Matlab/Simulink software to complete the co-simulation under the typical driving cycle of Chinese city bus to prove the effectiveness of the control strategy.then co-simulating under the driving cycle that be built in this paper,and it’s concluded that the fuel economy can be further improved with the control strategy that based on the real driving cycle.
