There are some problems in the design optimization of permanent magnet wind turbine(PM-WTG):(1)Spend a lot of time and computer resources in the finite element simulation analysis,sometimes,lack of effective exploration of the design variable space;(2)The optimization model based on finite element is difficult to be explicit,so it is not convenient to combine with optimization algorithm;(3)The traditional algorithm is easy to fall into local optimum when solving complex nonlinear optimization problems.Based on the existing problems in the optimization of PM-WTG,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy based on RSM(Response Surface Model)and the improved cuckoo algorithm.Firstly,the response surface model is used as the surrogate model of nonlinear function,Combined with the cuckoo algorithm to solve the optimal value of a nonlinear function,the feasibility of the response surface substitution model combined with the intelligent algorithm is verified.Secondly,according to the characteristics of multi variable,multi-objective,multi constraint and nonlinear of the optimization problem of PM-WTG,standard cuckoo algorithm is improved with the adaptive step,boundary mutation and mixed with simulated annealing algorithm,the performance of the improved algorithm is tested by several classical test functions test functions.At the same time,the finite element model of PM-WTG is established,The no-load air gap magnetic density,cogging torque,load back EMF and load torque are analyzed.Finally,based on the results of finite element simulation of PM-WTG,the armature slot width,the generator pole arc coefficient,eccentricity,air gap length and the permanent magnet thickness as the design variables,Established the Multiobjective optimization mathematical model based on the minimum aberration rate of sine wave and the peak value of the cogging torque,explicit optimization model based on experimental design and response surface model,the unification-object method is used to simplify the multi-objective problem to a single objective problem,with the improved cuckoo search algorithm to solve the optimization model,the Optimal parameters obtained are validated by the finite element software.The results show that the aberration rate of the air gap magnetic flux density of the PM-WTG is reduced by 0.7%,the sinusoidal waveform is improved;the peak cogging torque decreased by 84.5464N·m;At the same time,the sinusoidal waveform of load back EMF is also improved,the load torque fluctuation is suppressed.The effectiveness of optimization of the structural parameters of PM-WTG based on response surface model and improved cuckoo search is verified.
