A typical frontal fog weather phenomenon of Kunming Changshui International is taken as an example and uses the airport meteorological observation data, the whole process in December 24,2015 to December 26,2015 of the fog is simulated by WRF numerical model, through the comparison of three groups of test, the optimal simulation program is obtained by analysis.According to statistics, the Kunming Airport winter frontal fog accounted for86% of the total number of the fog days, this phenomenon is typical frontal fog,so it has certain representativeness. The landforms around Kunming Changshui International Airport are modified, and the main meteorological elements such as ground temperature, wind speed, relative humidity, and dew point temperature and so on under the same climatic conditions are compared and analyzed. The influence of different terrain on airport heavy fog is analyzed from three aspects: modifying the direction of the surrounding mountains, modifying the height of the mountain and changing the type of underlying surface. The research provides a new way and idea for the WRF numerical simulation in civil aviation operation and airport site selection. The experimental results show that 1)five layer thermal diffusion pavement scheme is better than that of Noah,iz0 tlnd land surface scheme is better than that of MM5 to surface,YSU boundary layer parameterization scheme is superior to the MYJ change layer parameterization scheme.2)Different direction mountains to affect the change of meteorological elements, the Kunming airport fog are greatly influenced by direction of the surrounding mountains, the wind trend and the surrounding mountains should be considered when the airport site selection, and planner should try to avoid election in the valley.3)Mountain height mainly affect the temperature and wind field, the high altitude and surrounding areas of complex topography should be avoided when airport site selection, relatively flat ground more conducive to the construction of airport.4)Different types of underlying surface are also affect the meteorological conditions of the airport, the waters more areas, vegetation and forest coverage rate of the region should be avoided.Near the city location more suitable for the construction of the airport because of higher temperature.
