As an important air transport and urban public infrastructure and security infrastructure,airport has played an important role to ensure our sustained, rapid and healthy development of air transport, and to promote economic and social development and opening-up, as well as to improve the national integrated transport system. According to the Civil Aviation "Twelfth Five Year Plan" and the National Civil Airport Layout Plan, in the future the number of airports will continue to grow, and airport construction will usher in greater opportunities and challenges. Scientific and rational airport site selection scheme is the main premise and key requirement of airport construction. Therefore, the civil airport site plan evaluation and optimization are studied,taking airport site as the research object.First of all, literatures on the airport site assessment and optimization are sorted and summarized. Secondly, relevant criteria and principles in China's civilian airport site work are introduced, and procedures and steps of airport site selection are explained to establish theoretical foundation for the evaluation and optimization adjustment. Then, civilian airport site evaluation index system is built based on the analysis of the airport site selection factors, literature data and expert opinion, and combined with the Civil Aviation site selection norms and standards. Subjective weight determined by G1 method is combined with objective weight determined by the entropy weight method, and weight coefficient of the evaluation index is determined using combination weight. Afterwards, based on the results of site selection evaluation, the final preferred solution is adjusted and optimized. Multi-objective site selection optimization model is constructed taking the airport site location(x, y) as the decision variables, and using airspace conditions, clearance conditions and the actual ground situation to determine the scope of the variables, with the goal of minimizing construction costs and earthwork volume in airport ground facilities construction. The model is solved using multi-objective genetic algorithm. Finally, the proposed evaluation system and site selection optimization model are verified taking a new airport in northern of our country as a case study.
