In recent years,with the rapid development of aviation,the number of flights are increasing and the scale of airport is enlarged.However,airport ground support capability can not meet the requirements of the increasing volume of flights anymore.For example,the incidents of flight delays appear frequently nowadays due to the lack of airport ground support capability.Therefore the assessment of airport ground support capability and the improvement of its operation become the focus of civil aviation,which also need urgent research.First,related concepts of airport ground support are analyzed,as well as their features,relationship,and service mode,evaluation process is summarized.The model of ground support vehicle is established,and then according to its object,the ground support system is divided into passenger support,baggage support and aircraft support,the characteristics of this system are extracted,a ground support capability assessment index system is initially established according to the parameters of ground support system and is screened by Delphi.Second,multilevel evaluation model of airport ground support capability based on classification is proposed,the weight of criterion layer and index layer,threshold value of evaluation index and comprehensive evaluation are determined in turn.According to this method,airport ground support capability can be divided into five grades.Finally,a simulation model of Wuhan airport airside is built by the AirTOp simulation software,in which the objects are shuttle bus,trolley,food trucks,fuel trucks and tractors.The ground support capability of Wuhan Tianhe International Airport is evaluated and the problems of existing operation program are found according to the simulation results,as well as the bottlenecks.Then an optimized method is proposed and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of this method.It truly improves the capability of Wuhan airport ground support.
