In order to realize flight risk as sessment based on QAR dada,t his thesis developed theresearch of appl ying statistical process con trol into the flight risk assessment based on QAR data.Currently,there are certain amount of deficiencies in Flight Operational Quality Assurance,one of them is sending alarm only when exceedance event happens and this m ight waste a lotof inform ation which is within limit,besides,lacking the management of QAR data noise,ignoring alarm or sending false alarm could als o cause th e unexpected results.In order to fillup thes e deficiencies,this thes is came up with the solution of applying statistic al processcontrol into the flight risk assessment based on QAR data,and introduced the rationality as well.Practices have proved that m ost QAR data exceedance ev ents happens for a reason,andthere are certain “signs” before its happening.This thesis took the QAR data of B737-800 asan exam ple,combined rare event theory,developed a series of criterions which could decidewhether the flig ht is stable or not.These criterions are the structure of flight risk assessm entmodel based on QAR data.The new criterions are more intensive so it would not cause anyconflicts with the current Flight Operational Quality Assurance.Finally this thesisdemonstrated flight risk assessment with actual QAR data,the re sult indicated that this newmethod could make scientific risk assessment based on QAR data,it could realize riskm anagement on both individuals and group after making minor modifications based onspecific background.
