Evaluating And Improving About Shift Clarity And Double Bump In Passenger Car Transmission

Shift performance of mechanical transmission directly affects the image of the automobile brand in the consumer mind.With the increasing demand for driving comfort and the declining of the manual passenger car transmission market,the manual passenger car transmission,with poor shift performance,will firstly be abandoned by the market.How to improve the shift performance of manual passenger car transmission becomes an important task of gearbox manufacturers.Based on the scientific and reasonable performance evaluation and targeted improvement method is a effectively way to improving shift performance.This paper mainly deals with the evaluation and the improvement about shift clarity and double bump of manual passenger car transmission.The main work includes:(1)Using mathematical modeling methods to complete the mathematical models of shift lever,shift tower,synchronizer and other key structure.(2)Testing and analysis the shift performance of target manual passenger car transmission by YD-I shift performance test bench and GSQE-Data Acquisition and Analysis Software.Verify the accuracy of the simulation model by comparing of test results and simulation results.(3)Put forward objective evaluation criteria about shift clarity and double bump.Based on the evaluation of the contents and evaluation criteria,completing the evaluation of the target transmission.(4)According to the evaluation results,propose improvement methods for the problem.Ultimately,it is proven that the improvement methods is reasonable and effective.
