With high speeding and flexible developing tendency of modern equipment,the functional special timing screw which was used to convey rigid & semi-rigid bulks has shown great advantages in aspect of accuracy,stability and flexibility,which become indispensable critical component in the high-speed production line.Therefore,researching and analyzing the conveying state and conveying system equipment structure of special timing screw is of great theoretical significance and engineering value.In this dissertation,the autogiration close-spaced type(ACS)special timing screw was conducted as the research object,the movement states of bulks in the conveying process have been analyzed,and bulk movements were abstracted into combined motion composed of translations and rotations.According to the steady-state conveying requirements,the bulk translation and rotation parameter equations were established respectively,and the surfaces of spiral groove were achieved based on the spatial envelope theory,then the CAD model of ACS type special timing screw was established.To mesh structured finite element for special timing screw,the technology of topology block division has been researched in ICEM CFD software platform for special timing screw,then body fitted structural mesh has been achieved.Furthermore,the screw conveying state contact model has been established,and the contact region,contact stress and other parameters under typical state have been clarified.By comparing the simulated contact area and the results of indentation experiments that the bulks were forced to contact with timing screw with the theoretical contact curves,validated the correctness of screw conveying state and the accuracy of CAD model simultaneously.Aiming at the synchronous rotation feature of folio conveying screws,a mechanism scheme of synchronous rotation have been proposed,which could be applicable to the single source drive of folio conveying screw.Then the prototypes have been designed and manufactured by analyzing the drive characteristics of ACS,Dwell,and Dividing special timing screw conveying systems.The results of operating experiments on the conveying screw system validated that the scheme could achieve steady-state conveying and had advantages of stability and high efficiency.The analysis of bulks conveying state and contact state to ACS special timing screw,and building conveying system experiment platform are of great reference significance and engineering value.
